This weekend, I am going to relax and spend time with my friends. On Saturday morning, I am going to clean my apartment. In the afternoon, we are going to meet at a café. On Sunday, I am going to visit my parents. I think it will be fun.

Language focus

Use “am / is / are going to + base verb” for plans:

I am going to relax.

She is going to visit her friend.

We are going to meet at a café.

Use “on” with days and “in” with parts of the day:

On Saturday, I am going to work.

In the afternoon, we are going to meet.

On Sunday evening, I am going to relax.

Remember:
I am going to visit my parents.
We are going to meet at a café.
Not: I am going visit my parents.
