1) Who I Am

I, Gegam Bedzhanian, Individual Entrepreneur, operate Evo-English. I am registered in Armenia.

2) Acceptance Of These Terms

By accessing or using Evo-English, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or platform features.

These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and any additional rules shown inside specific features.

3) Eligibility And Age Rules

Evo-English is intended for adult learners, English teachers, tutors, schools, and learners aged 16 or older.

• Teacher accounts are intended for users aged 18 or older.
• Users under 16 should use Evo-English only with the involvement and consent of a parent, legal guardian, teacher, school, or other authorized educational organization.
• Children under 13 may not create their own accounts or provide personal information directly to Evo-English.
• If a teacher, school, parent, or guardian uses Evo-English with a child under 13, they are responsible for obtaining any legally required parental or guardian consent.

4) Accounts And Access

Some features require an account, including personal vocabulary cards, progress, assignments, teacher/student dashboards, feedback, live lessons, and AI support.

• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Email/password sign-in is handled by the authentication provider. Passwords are not stored by Evo-English in plain text.
• If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or another provider, Evo-English does not receive your password from that provider.

5) Student Accounts And Learning Data

Adult learners may create their own accounts. Teachers may invite or add students for educational use, including assignments, feedback, vocabulary modules, live lessons, and progress tracking.

• Students are responsible for using the platform respectfully and for educational purposes.
• Students should not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for learning activity.
• Students may save vocabulary, submit assignment answers, upload permitted files, and send comments where features allow it.

6) Teacher, Tutor, And School Responsibilities

Teachers, tutors, and schools may use Evo-English to manage learners, create assignments, review submissions, provide feedback, send vocabulary card modules, run live lessons, and track progress.

• You must have the right to invite or add students and to process their learning information through Evo-English.
• You are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law, school policy, or parent/guardian rules.
• You must use student information only for legitimate educational purposes.
• You must not upload illegal, harmful, infringing, confidential, or unnecessary sensitive content.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs before relying on them in teaching.

7) Your Content

You may submit, store, or upload content through Evo-English, including:

• saved words, phrases, and vocabulary cards
• assignment answers, comments, and feedback
• teacher-created assignments, modules, and classroom materials
• messages submitted to AI or support features
• files uploaded through assignment, resource, or live lesson features

8) Evo-English Content And Intellectual Property

Website design, lessons, learning materials, dashboards, interfaces, software, and other Evo-English materials are owned by me or Evo-English, or used with permission, except for content provided by users or third-party providers.

• Lessons are written by me, Gegam Bedzhanian, for Evo-English, with AI assistance used in some parts of the content creation and editing process.
• Adapted books and reading materials may include AI-generated short retellings, summaries, and level-adapted learning materials based on well-known books or general educational topics.
• Audio dialogues may be created from AI-generated text and converted into audio using commercial text-to-speech tools, including ElevenLabs.

You may use Evo-English content for personal learning or ordinary teaching use through the platform. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly publish, scrape, or create competing datasets from Evo-English content without permission.

9) AI, Translation, And Learning Tools

Evo-English may include AI support, automatic translation, text-to-speech, generated examples, explanations, vocabulary support, and similar learning tools.

• You are responsible for how you use AI outputs, translations, and generated content.
• Teachers should review AI-assisted content before using it with students.
• Do not submit sensitive personal information into AI, translation, or support features unless necessary.
• I may apply limits, moderation, or abuse-prevention measures to protect users, the platform, and third-party providers.

10) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• break the law or violate the rights of others
• upload, submit, or share illegal, abusive, harmful, misleading, or infringing content
• attempt to hack, probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt Evo-English
• circumvent technical limits, access controls, or security measures
• upload malware, spam, or automated abuse
• use Evo-English in a way that harms users, students, teachers, schools, providers, or the platform

I may limit, suspend, or block access if I reasonably believe your use is abusive, unsafe, unlawful, or violates these Terms.

11) Third-Party Services

Evo-English relies on third-party providers to operate platform features. These may include:

• Webflow for hosting and page delivery
• Supabase for authentication, database, storage, realtime, and backend functions
• Google for sign-in, analytics, and other integrations where enabled
• Meta for Facebook sign-in where enabled
• OpenAI or similar providers for AI assistant features where enabled
• LiveKit or similar providers for live lesson features where enabled
• ElevenLabs or similar providers for text-to-speech audio generation where used
• jsDelivr, GitHub, or similar CDN services for delivering site scripts and assets

Your use of specific features may also be subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

12) Privacy And Analytics

Evo-English may process account data, learning data, technical data, cookies, local storage, and analytics events to provide and improve the platform.

Please read the Privacy Policy for details about data collection, cookies, analytics, your choices, and account deletion.

13) Changes, Availability, And Account Closure

• I may update, modify, add, or remove features over time.
• I do not guarantee that Evo-English will always be available, uninterrupted, or without errors.
• You may stop using Evo-English at any time.
• You may request account deletion or use account deletion tools where available.
• I may suspend or terminate access if required by law, platform safety, security, abuse prevention, or violation of these Terms.

14) Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability

Evo-English is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. I do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, uninterrupted access, or content without errors.

• AI outputs and translations are provided for learning support only.
• Learning materials may contain mistakes and should be reviewed where accuracy is important.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or learning opportunities arising from your use of the platform.

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If you have consumer, student, data protection, or other mandatory rights in your country that cannot be waived, those rights remain unaffected.

16) Contact And Updates

I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I will update the "Last updated" date on this page. If changes are significant, I may provide a notice on the website.
