1) Who we are

Evo-English (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an English-learning website that offers learning content, user accounts, vocabulary cards, a translator, and an AI assistant.

2) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using Evo-English, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy (which explains how data is collected and used).

3) Eligibility (age)

You must be at least 13 years old to use the website.

If you are under 18, use the website only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian (where required by your local law).

4) Accounts and access

Some features require an account (for example: personal account area, saving cards, progress/settings, and AI assistant access where enabled).

• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Passwords: we do not see or store your password in plain text. Email/password sign-in is handled by the authentication provider, and passwords are stored as secure hashes.
• Social login: if you sign in with Google or Facebook, we do not receive your password from those providers.

5) Your content (cards, saved words, inputs)

You may submit or store content on the website, such as:

• words/phrases saved to vocabulary cards
• progress and preferences/settings
• messages you enter into site features (for example, the AI assistant)

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited right to host, process, and display it only to provide and improve the service (for example, saving cards, syncing progress, preventing abuse, and debugging).

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or violate others’ rights (including intellectual property rights)
• attempt to hack, probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the website
• circumvent technical limits, access controls, or security measures
• upload or transmit malware, spam, or abusive content
• use the website in a way that could harm the service, other users, or our providers

We may limit or block access if we reasonably believe your use is abusive, unsafe, or violates these Terms.

7) AI assistant and translator features

The website may include an AI assistant and translation features to support learning.

• You are responsible for how you use AI outputs and translations.
• Do not submit sensitive personal information you would not want processed by third-party providers.
• We may apply limits or abuse-prevention measures to protect the service and providers.

8) Our content and intellectual property

All website content, design, and materials provided by Evo-English (excluding your own content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

• You may use the website for personal, educational purposes only.
• You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly publish site materials without permission.

9) Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to operate features of the website. Depending on your use, these may include:

• Supabase — authentication, sessions, and database storage
• Webflow — hosting and page delivery
• Google — Google sign-in, translation APIs, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) where enabled
• Meta — Facebook sign-in
• OpenAI — AI assistant processing (if enabled and used)

Your use of these features may also be subject to the providers’ terms and policies.

10) Cookies and analytics (summary)

We may use cookies/local storage and analytics tools to keep the website working and to understand usage.

11) Changes to the website

We may update, modify, add, or remove features over time.

We may introduce new features (including optional paid features) in the future. If that happens, we will explain the terms applicable to those features at that time.

12) Suspension and termination

• your use creates risk, security issues, or abuse
• we are required to do so by law

You can stop using the website at any time. You can delete your account via the personal account page (if available), which removes account access and associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that the website will be error-free at all times.
• We do not guarantee learning outcomes or improvements.
• AI outputs and translations are provided for convenience and learning support only.

14) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evo-English will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the website.

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If you have consumer rights in your country that cannot be waived, those rights remain unaffected.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

If changes are significant, we may provide a notice on the website.
