In this lesson, you will learn how to write about your free time: what activities you like, when or how often you do them, where or with whom you do them, and why you enjoy them.

In my free time, I like reading books and listening to music. I usually read in the evening. At weekends, I play football with my friends in the park. I also watch films at home because they are fun.

Language focus

Use “like + noun” or “like + verb-ing”:
