At the start of this year, I decided to make a new fitness plan. I was not trying to become an athlete. I simply wanted to feel healthier and have more energy during the day. After school, I often felt tired, and even climbing the stairs to our flat sometimes seemed difficult. That is why I joined the sports centre near my home.

On my first visit, a trainer called Maya asked me about my goals. I told her that I wanted to get stronger, sleep better, and build a routine that I could really follow. She smiled and said the plan should be simple at the beginning. She suggested walking for twenty minutes three mornings a week, joining a beginner class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and doing light strength exercises on Saturday.

Maya also explained that I should start gradually and keep one rest day. She said a good fitness plan is not only about exercise. It also includes drinking enough water, eating balanced meals, and going to bed on time. During my first week, waking up early was hard, and after the Tuesday class my legs hurt. Still, I felt proud because I finished it.

At the end of each week, I write short notes about what I did and how I felt. After one month, I noticed clear progress. I could climb the stairs more easily, and I felt less tired in the afternoon. Now I know that the best fitness plan is realistic, balanced, and easy to continue.
