My name is Anna. Today is my first day at a small café near my home. I start work at eight o’clock. I feel nervous, but the manager is kind. Her name is Lisa. She shows me the kitchen, the tables, and the drinks menu.

In the morning, many people come for coffee and tea. I bring water to one woman and a sandwich to a man. At eleven, I make my first coffee. It is not perfect, but Lisa smiles and says, “Good job!” At lunch, we eat soup and bread together. Now I feel happy. I think this job will be good for me.
