My name is Leo. On Monday, a new student comes to our class. His name is Omar. He sits next to me because there is an empty chair by my desk. At first, he is quiet, so I smile and say hello. During the break, I show him the school library and the playground.

He tells me he likes football and drawing. After lunch, we work together on a class poster about animals. Omar is kind and funny, and we laugh a lot. At the end of the day, we walk to the school gate together. I think I have a new friend at school.
