Hi, I’m Mark. Today I want to talk about the Grand Canyon in the USA. It is one of the most famous natural places in the world, and it really feels unreal when you see it for the first time. The Grand Canyon is in Arizona, and it was made by the Colorado River over a very long time. The canyon is huge. It is deep, wide, and full of different colors. The rocks can look red, orange, brown, and even purple, depending on the light. In the morning and at sunset, the view is especially beautiful because the colors change every minute. Many visitors go to the South Rim because it is easier to reach and it has lots of viewpoints. You can walk along the rim, stop at different places, and take photos. There are also short hiking trails if you want to go a little lower and feel the size of the canyon more directly. But you need to be careful. The weather can change quickly, and the heat can be strong, especially in summer. It’s important to bring water, wear good shoes, and not take risks. Some people also visit the Skywalk, a glass bridge where you can stand above the canyon. Others choose a helicopter tour to see the canyon from the air. If you like adventure, you can even hike down toward the river, but that needs planning and good fitness. For me, the Grand Canyon is not just a tourist spot. It makes you feel small in a good way. It reminds you how powerful nature is, and how much time it takes to create something so amazing. If you ever travel in the USA, I think it’s a place worth seeing at least once.
