SCRIPT 1 — Anna

Hi, I’m Anna. When I think about my future, I feel excited and a little nervous. This year, I’m going to focus on my English. I want to speak more confidently at work and when I travel. Next summer, I’m planning to visit a new country with my sister. We want to see museums, try local food, and take lots of photos. I’m also going to save money every month, because I want to move to a bigger apartment one day. In the future, I’d like to change my job and work in a more creative area. I don’t know exactly when, but I’m taking small steps now, and that feels good.

Hello, I’m David. I have a few plans for the next year. First, I’m going to improve my health. I’m going to start running twice a week and eat less fast food. I also want to learn a new skill, so I’m planning to take an online course. If everything goes well, I’d like to get a better job and earn more money. In two or three years, I’m hoping to buy a car, because it will make life easier. I also want to travel more. I haven’t been abroad for a long time, so I’m going to plan a short trip in the spring. My future plan is simple: work hard, learn new things, and enjoy life more.

SCRIPT 3 — Maria

Hi, I’m Maria. In the future, I want my life to be more balanced. Right now, I’m very busy, so I’m going to organize my time better. I’m planning to wake up earlier, so I can have a calm morning and not rush. I also want to study more, because I’m thinking about changing careers. Next year, I’m going to take a course and build new skills step by step. I’m also going to spend more time with my family and friends. I sometimes say “I’m too busy,” but I don’t want to live like that forever. In the long term, I’d like to travel, learn another language, and feel proud of my progress.
