Goal

Name the main parts of the body, describe simple appearance, and say what hurts in easy sentences.

Talking about body parts

  • Use my / your: my head, your hand.
  • Use have: I have brown eyes. / She has long hair.
  • Use This is… for one part: This is my arm.
  • Use These are… for two or more: These are my hands.

Singular & plural forms

  • Normal plurals: hand → hands, finger → fingers.
  • Irregular plurals: tooth → teeth, foot → feet.
  • For two parts we say: two eyes, two ears, two legs.

Describing appearance

  • Use adjectives: big / small, long / short.
  • He is tall. / She is short.
  • She has long hair. / He has big hands.

Saying what hurts

  • Ask: What’s the matter?
  • Answer: My head hurts. / My stomach hurts.
  • Short form: I feel sick.
