🔢 Countable Nouns
Countable nouns are items we can count individually (e.g., apple, chair, book). They have singular and plural forms:
- one apple, two apples, three apples
- a chair / chairs
- a book / books
✅ A/An + Singular Countable
Use a/an before a singular countable noun. You cannot use a singular countable noun without a determiner (a/an, the, my, etc.).
- ❌ I have dog. → ✅ I have a dog.
- ❌ When I was student. → ✅ When I was a student.
🌊 Uncountable Nouns
Uncountable nouns refer to substances or concepts we cannot count (e.g., water, rice, sugar). They do not have a plural form.
