🔢 Countable Nouns

Countable nouns are items we can count individually (e.g., car, house, book). They have singular and plural forms:

  • one car, two cars, three cars
  • a house / houses
  • a book / books

✅ A/An + Singular Countable

Use a/an before a singular countable noun. You cannot use a singular countable noun without a determiner (a/an, the, my, etc.).

  • ❌ I have car. → ✅ I have a car.
  • ❌ When I was child. → ✅ When I was a child.

🌊 Uncountable Nouns

Uncountable nouns refer to substances or concepts we cannot count (e.g., money, milk, rain). They do not have a plural form.

  • ❌ I need a money. → ✅ I need money.
  • ❌ We need to buy a sugar. → ✅ We need to buy sugar.
